It's an annual thing for me to post a recent photo on my birthday so here I am at 34. Don't be fooled, the pic was taken with the Instagram app which is super-flattering. My hair is the longest it has been in ten years (I chopped off very long, ratty locks in March, 2002). I am still getting used to this hair but I do kind of like it.

There's been a paucity of posts here because in addition to my somewhat demanding travel writing class at the local college, my freelance editing work has also been steady. Plus, I had bronchitis for two weeks (99% sure that's what it was) which meant I wasn't accomplishing much. I have ideas for lots of posts but who knows when I will get them written up?
