Yesterday morning, I was on my way to Chinatown to buy a new shower curtain (the thrills never cease in my life) when I cut though Kensington Market and found a full-on festival in progress! I had completely forgotten about P.S. Kensington, the monthly car-free party with games, music, food and general merry-making. So fun! If there was one event in Toronto I'd like to take overseas visitors to, it would be P.S. Kensington. It's just really sweet to see all the diverse and quirky neighbours enjoying the summer weekend together.
It was my last weekend living in Kensington Market. Okay, so I'm only moving 13 minutes down the street, but you know how it is in large cities. Even a couple of blocks means a big difference. I'm going to miss being in the middle of this, but I'll come back to visit whenever I can.

So, as I mentioned, I'm in the process of moving. This is the shortest distance I've ever moved (Canada-Australia, Japan-UK... definitely more pressure). But I've been ensconced in this place for two years, which is a long time for me, and I have collected more stuff than I had realized. I'm getting kind of anxious - been dreaming about spiders a lot which always happens when I'm stressed. So, if it's a little while before my next post, you'll know it's because of the move. Don't feel neglected, okay?
