Hey there. I couldn't post for a while because there was some weirdness with Blogger. Did anyone else have this problem?

Anyway, on sunny Saturday morning I hopped on the College Street streetcar, just steps from my apartment, and rode to High Park. There is a streetcar stop right in the park, which I think is pretty neat.

I went to check out the cherry blossoms and to take some photos. Sadly, the blossoms were just about finished and most of the petals were on the ground. Ah, the transience of beauty... Also, I forgot to put new batteries in my camera so I could only take one photo every 10 minutes or so while the camera regained its strength.

This looks like a lovely little spot to sit and enjoy the spring:

A Peaceful Spot

The magnolia trees were done for the season, too, but they were still worth a photo:

Truth be told, I much prefer the colour of the plum blossoms to the cherry blossoms. I'm invigorated by deep, insense purple:

If you're in Toronto and you are a normal human being in that you love candy, I would suggest checking out the Sweets Expo this weekend. I wish I could be there but I'm all set to go home. I imagine it would be a lot like the candy convention that Homer and Marge Simpson went to - remember, Homer stole the Gummi de Milo? "Oh, I feel like a kid in some kind of store!"
